Coulson Aviation Australia is a subsidiary of global aerial firefighting company, Coulson Aviation, and supports Australian States and Emergency Service Organizations with the provision of aircraft and experienced team members. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are currently recruiting a Purchaser to be a part of the team. This position will support Richmond and Bankstown, NSW operations by executing purchases both locally and internationally, as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Source and purchase the highest quality products, while ensuring timely availability and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers by keeping them informed of Coulson Aviation Australia’s needs and expectations and promptly addressing any issues that arise.
• Follow up with vendors, suppliers, transportation service providers and/or customs brokers to ensure all shipments are being expedited as expected.
• Inspect purchased products upon delivery to ensure the correct item was received, in proper order and report any issues.
• Continuously seek to improve procurement processes and inventory flow.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years minimum experience as Purchaser or Buyer
• Aviation experience preferred
• Communicates effectively
• Exercises good judgment and makes effective, sound, timely and informed decisions
• Currently hold or ability to obtain Red ASIC card and/or RAAF passes
