Maintenance Planner
Coulson Aviation Australia is a subsidiary of global aerial firefighting company, Coulson Aviation, and supports Australian States and Emergency Service Organizations with the provision of aircraft and experienced team members. Coulson Aviation operates across the world with a fleet of large aerial firefighting assets consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. Coulson Aviation Australia operate and manage New South Wales Rural Fire Service-owned aircraft in all aspects of maintenance, fleet support systems and management, and operating personnel. Our teams perform aerial firefighting missions, transport flights, intelligence and scanning missions, disaster mitigation, search and rescue operations, and related activities.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Planner to be a part of the team. This position will support Richmond and Bankstown, NSW operations as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Plan and schedule all of the necessary maintenance checks for each aircraft in full detail, ensuring the tools and materials are available when required.
• Prepare for presentation and approval, estimates for the planned maintenance.
• Communicate the maintenance plan and coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure all required resources are on site, expectations are clear, and all departments are properly notified on the status of the maintenance.
• Monitor the plan is being followed and make adjustments if required to ensure it is on schedule and that the work hours and material costs are staying within budget.
• Adjust schedules to accommodate unexpected maintenance tasks and/or repairs and communicate the amendments with all relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain oversight on all Coulson operated aircraft type and the required preventive maintenance checks and AD’s.
• Ensure Systems of Maintenance and Approved Maintenance Programs comply with CASA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
• In depth knowledge of the principles of aircraft maintenance planning.
• Strong knowledge of estimating, production planning, and project management
• Familiarity with a variety of rotary and fixed wing aircraft types.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the development and management of aircraft maintenance programs.

• Currently hold or ability to obtain Red ASIC card and/or RAAF passes.
