The ideal Component Shop Technician has had an SCA under an AMO.

Experience with the BoeingCH-47 Chinook or Sikorsky S-61 components is a bonus, but you’ll also have your hands on components from Boeing 737 FIRELINERS™, Lockheed C-130H Hercules, Cessna Citations, and Sikorsky S-76's too.

We’ll also consider residents of Port Alberni, BC. who have transferable skills, because we want to support the community and training is one of the things we do best!

THE THINGS YOU’LL DO:

• Overhaul, repair, and modify aircraft components.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment and organization.
• Maintain appropriate consumable levels.
• Package parts for services.
• Other duties as assigned.

THE THINGS YOU’LL NEED:

• An SCA under an AMO, or related qualifications and experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
• Strong interest in mechanics and aviation.
• Ability to understand and interpret diagrams, manuals, technical drawings, etc.
• Self-motivated and driven.
• Basic computer skills.
